Hello Everyone,
This year, I have registered to ride in the ALS Canada Revolution Ride.
Although I'm challenging myself to do more for people and families living with ALS by participating in the ALS Canada Revolution Ride, it pales in comparison to the daily challenges that people with ALS and their families face. Including my own.
Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (also known as ALS or Lou Gehrig's disease) is a life changing diagnosis that sadly, is eventually fatal. Although it affects everyone differently, the same ongoing and unwavering support is needed by each family.
My Dad has always been a pillar of strength, unconditional love and support to his family, friends and community. We will go through this journey together and continue to "live, laugh and love" as he so wishes. I will ride in an effort to support him and other families living with ALS.
I am hopeful that someday we will see a future without ALS, which is why I'm gearing up and raising donations for the Revolution Ride on September 25, 2022. I will be completing the ride virtually from our home on Manitoulin Island. I thank everyone who has chosen to support this cause and our family.
